“I recall never enjoying Maths and actually having an aversion to it at school. The concepts, formulas and even language seemed challenging to me which was strange as I was good at so many other subjects but maths simply eluded me. Roshi had a different approach to the teachers at school, obviously one on one tuition is always going to be more effective than a large classroom with one teacher but what she did that seemed to work for me was break down the topics in the curriculum and make them far less confusing than I found them in the classroom. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor.”

“At the end of my PGCE course, I needed to brush up on my maths problem solving skills, so I approached Roshi to help me. She was incredibly patient and encouraging. She explained everything clearly, intelligently, and in a very sensitive way. Not only did she help me pass my exam, but she also built my confidence and love in maths. I highly recommend her to other potential maths students.”
Stana Downie, former PGCE student
“Her teaching manner was very nurturing and laid back and by going to her every week and repeating the work with the same calm instruction I was able to finally get over the hurdle and I did pass my GCSE maths. I got a B which I was very happy with. I have never forgotten how Roshi’s lessons were and the calm environment she provided which was exactly what I needed in order to improve. There was no stress or any uncomfortable feeling when I was struggling and I will always appreciate her help. It is 20 years later and I still remember well how she helped me.”
