FAQs
What people ask me
-
Although it can be arranged, I do not recommend it. Maths Tuition on a 1:1 basis is completely interactive while technological facilities are still a little clumsy and time-consuming to accommodate these requirements. As a tutor, I prefer to see how the student reacts, and I like them to show me examples of their work so that I can see that they are on board at every step of the way. This helps capture their focus entirely. Watching me on a screen will reduce the interactive focus and curtails my ability to see how they are doing.

I work predominantly in Hampstead, Highgate, Camden, Kentish Town or Gospel Oak. However, don’t be afraid to ask if I cover your area.

I find that 60 minutes is the best length of time to get used to being able to focus. Nearer the exam times I may recommend a longer session of 90 minutes to stretch the focusing interval as the best means of preparation for exams.

Yes. I have worked for tutoring agencies which require that I have my DBS.
